Being
the Change - Living the Dream...
Four years after my return to the West, the Shaman came to me in a vision. While I was attending a meeting at the World Summit on Sustainable Development 2002, in Johannesburg, I became distressed because I saw what was really happening in the places of power. He told me it was time to Be The Change. By March 2003, I was in a field in Hereford facing my darkest fear – to unlock the pandora’s box that was my Apprenticeship and face the consequences.
Again in my dark hour, the Shaman returned and told me that my Apprenticeship would only be complete, and my promise fulfilled, when I had shared it with others. I overcame the writer’s block in order to spread the messages from the Shaman and Ayahuasca, far and wide and The Shaman’s Last Apprentice was born.
After finishing the manuscript and researching the different publishing options I decided that the only way I could maintain my integrity was to self-publish, despite this being a harder and more arduous path. I set my intention and began to consciously live the messages of the book until I manifested it into creation. After countless miracles and magic 'The Shaman's Last Apprentice' was published in September 2004 on the Full Moon.
When you buy my book you are supporting a business that puts Mother Earth and people before profit. ''The Shaman's Last Apprentice' is a bit more expensive than the cheap paperbacks you can buy in Tesco because it is printed ethically on recycled paper, and locally printed in UK.
As I sell the book directly, I am able to connect to many of those who read my story, which is very special for me. Also, personally bartering and trading The Shaman’s Last Apprentice, are two of the most powerful aspects of self-publishing. It allows me to exchange my journey for many wonderful things. It also allows me to share my abundance in different ways.
I have seen, through the Ayahuasca vision journeys, what is happening on the planet and where our possible choices can lead us. I know that I have to be the change in order to see change. My challenge, since my return from the Amazon, has been to find the simplest most effective way.
In 2006, my partner and I set up Hemp Global Solutions. Our aim is to end the prohibition and grow hemp. Only hemp can solve some of the huge challenges that we are facing at this time, such as deforestation, soil health and poor nutrition. Visit hempglobalsolutions.com for more information on how to get involved in the hemp re-evolution.
